Tried this place before a late movie. The 12 piece tuna/salmon sashimi ($20) was average and actually 3 pieces of each cut in half. The omu chicken rice and soup ($13.50) lacked chicken. Overpriced for what you get. The iPad menus provided entertainment.

We came here for dinner and ordered Beef Katsu Bento box and a chicken Sasuke Soba. The serving sizes were ample and as far as the Sasuke Soba was concerned, it was well balanced. The sweet and sour sauce was dominant but not unpleasant. The beef katsu was good, but can’t really say it was anything special. The addition of $3.80 for Bento box is quite worth it for the salad, seaweed, emanate, potato croquette and spring roll. The place itself can easily be found next to Scarborough beach Rd. The service was fast and the place was pretty clean. Walls need a retouch though.

Working in Osborne Park for years, I went to this place many times. I went the other day to try it again and it’s better than I remember. The bento box has a crispy spring roll, delicious potato cake, sticky rice, some delicious seaweed salad and your selection of meat. I had the lemongrass chicken which was super tasty, packed a punch but was a little salty (but I like salty). My mate had chilli beef and that was super delicious!!! Staff are friendly and while its small, you can usually score a table. Good value for money!

Gyozo has just the right flavour . Bento box meal was delicious and good value. Surroundings look average yet place was busy at lunchtime on a Wednesday – you know it’s got to be good food made here .

Sloppily put together, hardly any sauce on the chicken, potato croquet way too oily. Save yourself the time and effort and visit Yoshi Japanese takeaway down the road it’s far better.
