Had breakfast there Saturday 27/01/2018 was very nice 5/5 so went there the next day for breakfast again and ordered the same meal but came out completely different was not good at all like it was from another restaurant, must of had a different chef on , no consistency. And the waiter with the man bun needs to learn some manners , terrible attitude

Erlin and I stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back from Margaret River. We were hungry after visiting the Canal Rocks at Yallingup, and we decided to stop by at Barnyard1978. When we walked in, we were so happy to find a beautiful hidden gem (for us). Barnyard1978 has indoor and outdoor seating areas. We decided to stay indoors because it was quite a windy day. We were quite late for lunch, but we still saw a lot of customers coming into Barnyard1978.

The food is excellent and the staff really helpful and friendly. The deco and ambience is arty and refreshing. A little pricey but it has the best food in the area! Great for families and also with someone special.

Ate here for breakfast. The place itself is trendy and funky with lots of things for sale and to have a nosey at and look around. The menu is varied too, if not a little pricey. I ordered the eggs Benedict (eggs and toast with hollandaise on the side) which was ok. Nothing was particularly wrong about it, but the hollandaise didn’t have enough acidity to it, to bite through the richness of the eggs. In addition, there was a hair in my meal, which I took back and they replaced it quickly, but they didn’t really go out of their way to apologise. Would have at least liked a coffee on the house!
