Great place, tend to pick up at least one bottle when I drop by. The person serving is patient and informative. It has lovely grounds with the amphitheater past the vineyards.

Beautiful dinner. Enjoyed dinner at Driftwood on Monday evening. Two course set menu was a very reasonable at $39 per person. Excellent value for the ‘Mark-up River’ region as we like to call it. BYO wine and beer as an added bonus. Service was warm and attentive. Owner Carolyn informed us that she’d only recently opened in the evenings for dinner. Since there appears to be very little in between Margaret River and Dunsborough for open for dinner we were pleased to find this little gem. My friend and I shared our entrees of crispy pork belly salad and spinach ricotta stuffed mushrooms. However we both plumped for the lamb shanks with mash and jus and were not disappointed. Too stuffed for dessert although the sticky fig cake with boozy fruit sounded very tempting.
Surprised to be delighted!. After hearing mixed reviews from friends, it was a delightful surprise to enjoy a good lunch at Driftwood last weekend. The cellar door and restaurant are looking a little tired, but the food and service definitely made up for it. The lamb shanks were to die for, while the scallop-chicken salad worked unusually well. Also not to be missed amongst the fabulous wines is the Driftwood Olive Oil – olives grown on the property and delivering that lovely nutty taste. The 750ml bottle is a bargain at $20 and compares well with some of the more expensive olive oils in smaller chic bottles at other providers in the region. Well worth a visit for the wine and the food!
