Very unfriendly, rude staff and terrible service. We were told that we were walking in and out of the cafe too much and the clear plastic strips may fall and become a hazard? We will be making the drive to Masters for our garden supplies from now on. Gave the cafe a go but definitely won’t be returning or recommending to other locals. Especially when Bib’s Tuck Shop and Locals Surf Shack are only next door and have such lovely staff and brilliant service.
Not child friendly. I am reluctant to write negative reviews & usually choose to save my reviews for great restaurant experiences. That being said, I think it’s important that parents are aware this is not a place for young children. Breakable china ornaments at nearly ground level, an unprotected pond outside not to mention the plastic strip doorways, this is not a place where parents can relax even for a moment. Despite our children being under direct supervision at all times, staff made it clear they were not welcome. It wouldn’t take too much to make it at least a little more child-friendly but would definitely require a new attitude from staff.
