Ive seen the place everytime i drive past but never thought to try. And one day we did. The place is old fashion. Very simple but i thought quite clean for a suburban restaurant. When we went there they only had one table but later people came from the back so i think there is a outdoor or more seating near the back of the restaurant.Ok now to the food. We ordered veal with spaghetti. This is my partners favourite but it was a miss with him. He said veal wasnt crispy crumbed more like soggy crumbed drenched in sauce and spaghetti was a bit over cooked. So the whole dish was a sloppy meal.I ordered the fettuccine alfredo. It was a big dish so i think enough for 2 people to share. I couldnt finish and had to get it takeaway. It was really nice for me creamy with a bit of cheese in the sauce cos it was a bit stringy. And the pasta was a little over cooked but I rather that than chewy pasta. It has plenty of sauce and flavourful. The best thing was when I ate it the next day it was still creamy. Usually other places if you reheat creamy pasta it becomes oily and the cream splits. So it was great for me. We has garlic bread aswell. Also big serving and big slices. But the bread was a little chewy and thick cuts. So that was ok but had good flavor of garlic butter in it. We had 2 beers and a soft drink so.All up our bill was $80+ which was a tad bit exspensive. Oh and also if you pay with card there is a surcharge 3% I think.Another note. The menu prices you see here must be old or take away prices. Eg. Fettuccine pasta says its $15.90 but actually is $21.50. Thats one thing I forgot is to take a photo of menu. This place also caters for babies so highchair is available which is a plus point for me. Especially with a 9 month old.
Ordered garlic bread, chilli mussels, chicken parcel, spaghetti with seafood (marinara-like style) and a pizza. Loved the mussels and the accompanying sauce. Garlic bread was a little too chewy and not crunchy enough. Personal favourite would be the chicken parcel as it was tender and well seasoned. Would return
Went there this evening…We ordered lasagne and a large Gino’s special pizza for the two of us.The best lasagne I have ever had in Australia and a great pizza all freshly made.Staff were great couldn’t do enough for us .. Told us we could take home the food we didn’t finish.. This we did as the portions were quite large .. Great price, great service.. Exceptionally good food .. We will go back soon!
