We have been here twice, 2 years apart and nothing seemed to have improved. We had to wait a long time for our food first time round and just as bad this time. An hour of wait for a chicken stew that only required heating up and cubes of lamb that only needed to be quickly pan-fried? Food tasted oily and average this time, there was no freshness. It is a shame that they have no idea how to run a business because this could have been a successful eatery, as we don’t get to eat home-cooked Sudanese food everyday. Unfortunately this was the second and last visit. instagram.com

Yes service was slow to begin. However it was well worth the wait and our kids love this place they keep asking to go.This is our 3rd or so visit (our first this year). The gentleman said I will just bring out an array of stuff and we said go for it. The chicken and fish are fresh and stunningly simple. Yet tastes so good. The chicken stew is amazing as is the lamb. The dishes don’t look very big however by the end of it we are all full. Just beware – there is a sauce they bring out and it is sooooo hot. I avoid it at all costs. The best part of this dinner is the cost – for 5 of us it cost just over $60 and we all left full and happy. Definitely worth a visit but don’t be expecting the best looking place in town. And again the wait is worth it.
