Welcome at Wienerroither! We are a traditional Austrian bakery and patisserie in the beautiful Woerthersee-Region south of the Alps. We specialise in handmade artisan bread, buns and cakes as well as homemade ice cream (in summer) and snacks. We've got quite a reputation for our luxury breakfast in the Poertschach Caf - ma guat! Reservations recommended on weekends. We do offer vegetarian and vegan dishes, however our only gluten free product are Hadnkex - made from buckwheat flower.Details

This Backerei I tried on my business trip and I was really satisfied! Now we go there with my family each week to make a breakfast because you can choose from long menu. I love Ei im glass! And they have all day fresh bread!
Dropped by to try their pastry one afternoon, friendly staff willing to explain the choices on offer given the German labelling. Interesting choices of salad and savoury light meals as well. Enjoyed the ambience.
Best breakfast in town. Price to quality and amount of food ratio is the best here. Staff is also very polite. If you have hard time waking up in the morning, try their double espresso
