A very good konditorey/backerey. A nice atmosphere, excellent cakes and great coffee. The Apple Strudel is fantastic. Highly recommended.
Popped in after visiting the abbey and wandering down the main street. Enjoyed two lovely cakes and a couple of coffees for around 11 euros. We noticed that the establishment is dog friendly by the way.
We were cold and wet and the English-speaking staff welcomed us warmly into their super comfy cafe. Rum coffee, wine, delicious toastie plus a delicious range of gluten free cakes. Fabulous all round!
It’s worth the trip to Melk just to visit this beautiful little bakery. Quality cakes and other goodies that will tantalise the taste buds. Hand made with minimal sugar and no artificial ingredients, spectacular flavours.. the offerings here were a highlight in all of Austria.
Stopped off in Melk to find this coffee stop.One word- excellent.Superb array of delicious cakes and coffees. Staff very welcoming and with a good sense of humour.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Good coffee and tasty pastries. Went around town and ended here for coffee. Was not crowded anymore we found our place. Enjoyed our snacks but planned to have early dinner before we’re off to the next town. We’ll be scouting around again.
