The Siegl's PUB is located on the main square in Wiener Neustadt 11. During the monarchy this house served the Master Civium (mayor) as a residence. In the great fire of Wiener Neustadt (1834) Johann Siegl acquired the building as "conflagration" house. He was registered in the city since 1798 as a chocolate maker and was seen as a dealer for everything from liquor to iron goods. After his death in 1840, his son Carl Siegl took over the business and was also named after the still existing furnaces and hardware store. With the traffic calming in the 1990's the main square, the traditional business moved to the suburbs and the house has been used as a catering location. The Siegl's PUB is managed, since 10.03.2008 without interruption, by Simone Leonhard, making it since years to the fix-point of Wiener Neustadt's pub-scene. Whether in the homely atmosphere in the old historic vaults or in the cosy guest garden, our guests, from young to old, join us to enjoy one of the largest beer and cider choices between Vienna and Graz. Homemade baked breads, sandwiches and many other beer companions complete the offer. Celebrate, relax or just make your own day well served.
