We participated in a chocolate-making demonstration from a multi-generational chocolate maker in the old town of Stein. The cafe was fantastic and their cakes were terrific – and don’t forget to buy the chocolate.
During a Danube River Cruise we stopped in Krems and had a chance to explore this city. The waitstaff were very friendly and explained various pastries to the non-German speakers in the group.
This is the place to go in Krems if you want to spoil yourself with a delicious dessert and a good cup of coffee. The interior is cozy and nicely decorated, while service is reasonable.
