After a number of visits to this restaurant they seem to have lost the magic touch. The food is still very good but the feeling of being a special guest is unfortunately lost. Still highly recommended for the food and surroundings
Almbar is an athmospheric, cosy Hütte masquerading as a fine dining restaurant. It is overpriced for very average food and where else in Austria can’t you get a Grosses Bier and then be made to feel like a pleb for asking for one?
Perfect place to experience Austria charm. Food was fresh, filling and delicious. Many gluten free sauces were available. Great wine list.
The Almbar lived up to expectations. The food was great, from the schnitzel to baked fish. Imaginative menu too. Not the cheapest but an excellent meal and very friendly waiter.
