Hans Weitzer was very busy running his wine bar back in 1910, the bar where DER STEIRER is located today. But he knew how to enjoy himself too, and took great delight in spending time in the company of his guests, sitting down together to share in delicious food and drink. DER STEIRER follows in his footsteps: gemtlichkeit is our watchword. Our aim is to make you feel completely at home, savouring the taste of traditional Styrian (or steirisch, as the locals say) cuisine and our almost limitless selection of wine. Relax in a laid-back atmosphere, grab a quick coffee at the bar or find a souvenir of that uniquely Styrian joie de vivre.
