The CONDOR has become a very popular restaurant in the ,,south-american-style" since its opening in spring 2011. Three times in a row it has been awarded by Gault&Millau and Falstaff. The restaurant offers serveral small, cozy rooms in the spacious smoker-bar there are great drinks, cocktails, a huge collection of Spritzer and other exotic drinks. Direct from Colombia 7 exclusive rums are imported, including the RON CARIB 21 ANOS who could occupy a place among the top 30 worldwide under 7.000 rums. Direct from the Colombian Andes and the hand-picked under the name GOLDEN CONDOR specialty coffee is offered, which - similar to Blue Mountain from Jamaica - grows to about 1.700 m above the sea level and it's Europe's only offered in the CONDOR. The menu includes local specialities as a wide selection of steaks, grilled fish, seafood and other south-amerikan delicacies. Vegeterian are not forgotten. A wine list from Austria and Latin America is the perfect complement to the various dishes. Aside from the huge garden right on Karmeliterplatz overlooking the fountain, there is also a outdoor dinning in the cozy courtyard of CONDOR.
