"We are telling beer storys, because we are beer history" that's the slogan of Arkadenhof, the oldest brewery restaurant of Leoben. A fact, that the well known beer pope Conrad Seidl noticed too, and elected the "A-Hof", that's how the locals call the cult restaurant, to the austrian "beer & cheese restaurant 2009". The gastronomic range of our historical tavern is rich and varied. The culinaric specialities that the chef and his crew prepare, orient themselves on local and fresh produce in season and exceptional "beery" plates. We would like to put a special highlight on the finel assorted selection of local organic cheese varieties. Or stay for a legendary "Gsser beer menu" consisting of a pint Gsser Gold - to compense the slight delay - and a slowly drawn Gsser Spezial with a huge four to five centimeter whitecap. The environment of it is really distinct. Very nice to hang up with your own small group and enjoy well prepared food. It also has a nice variety of beer that you can and should experience. Ask for the beer special. Would definitely recommend.
We had lunch last sunday at Arkadenhof, the food was very traditional and good, the service was good. The down side is that they DON’T have a non smoking area, and tge toilets are old.
