We visited the restaurant around 6 pm in the evening with two kinds and had to wait for more than 1,5 hour for our meals. Really bad experience. We were not warned upronft that it takes so long.

Ate here on several evenings as the pension we were staying at did not serve evening meals. Friendly owner with very good English. Can recommend the schnitzel, chicken salad and apple strudel with vanilla sauce.
For years this ‘konditorei’ has been serving nice homenade cakes, especially the sachertorte never disappoints 😉
We visited Cafe Walcher as part of a group. The service was excellent and attentive, food was prompt and they went out of their way to meet our needs. We look forward to our next visit!
We were there for late lunch during our trip to Dachstein. The location is very good- directly by the main road. The food is very tasty, big portions and the price is good too. The service is nice and friendly, only little bit slowly.
