About

The elegant and iconic Caf Sacher Innsbruck is located in the Hofburg Imperial Palace and exudes old world Habsburg atmosphere with modern touches brought in with a refurbishment in 2011. The caf is a successful combination of a wine bar, restaurant & caf. It offers the opportunity to sample the famous Original Sacher-Torte and to enjoy a variation of savoury dishes and a fabulous wine list. During summer time the quiet interior courtyard of the palace is a great venue for sampling some of our extensive selection of cocktails and liqueurs. Host Alexander Klapps and his team treat their guests to outstanding culinary delights.

Legendary cafe has its “branch” in Innsbruck too. Visit after Hofburg for a lunch. There can be a line for 15-20 min to get a table. Try potato soup and the cake of course. We also took a box of hot chocolate with us.

Taking a break from walking, this cafe offered history, coffee, and their specialty chocolate cake. We also decided on dinner where I had a very good potato soup and my friend had a chicken schnitzel which was excellent.

The cake and croissants were great! But the service was terrible – there was just one person for 10+ tables and he was a little to the face and rude

A relaxed environment to enjoy a Coffee Melange and Sacher Torte, served with a smile. Delicious cake, friendly staff.

I love this restaurant, for the interior style, the quality of the service and for the warm atmosphere!the food is great too, but it is the classical, elegant style and its waiters who make the difference for me!Highly reccomended!

Preferred by tourists and 70+ guests. Still a nice high quality coffee shop. Not a bad place if you need a quiet location
