If you are looking for an amazing Restaurant in the Village of Kössen that offers Great, Food, Great Service and Great Atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting Die Schmiede, Kossen/Tirol. Upon walking to the front door of this amazing restaurant I was made feel very Welcome by all the staff and Owner Mario. I was seated to a great table and immediately got my menu. Not long after I ordered my drink and I was given plenty of time to read over my menu. My Waiter explained the menu to me and was very Professional! My appetizer arrived on time and then my main entrée arrived in a very timely fashion. Absolutely no rush at all. Very relaxing atmosphere. Now here is the best part. The Nachos I ordered was in my honest opinion The best I have experienced in many years. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, Lived in the United States for over thirty years and traveled all over the world with the United States Marines. I definitely know a Great Restaurant and Nachos from my life experiences and travels around the world. The staff are above par and I even had a great conversation with the owner of this amazing restaurant. Everyone made me feel very Welcome! You will definitely get the full Austrian Experience upon your visit.This bar rates five stars and more. I highly recommend visiting this bar and restaurant upon your visit to the beautiful village of Kössen. I definitely will be returning in the near future.
