The way to one's heart is through the stomach. Our cafe and restaurant, the "Milchbar", has made quite a name for itself over the last 40 years. It's a place where Tyrolean products meet recipes we have discovered in a variety of countries and continents. Opening times: Winter: 10.00 am - 11.00 pm (kitchen 11.00 am - 9.30 pm). Summer: 11.00 am - 10.00 pm (kitchen 11.00 am - 9.00 pm) closed on Sunday RESERVATIONS: We do reservations for Guests staying in our apartements ONLY. We tried schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn and strudel with vanilla sauce. They were great! The waitresses were very kind and helpful.
If you go here take the cheese burger! Great meat and the wine was also excellent. Initially the service appeared not to be so nice, but eventually the smile was there! Certainly a place you should go if you are in Gerlos.
Best restaurant in Gerlos village. Very busy so be prepared to wait for your table. Nyt usually you can comfortably wait at the bar and look how the staff makes excellent ice cream portions. I recommend to try the local speciality rösti.
One of the few places where you can have lunch in the village. They have great Kaiserschmarn. The Milkshake is really milky (I like it, but no thick shake). The food is great and nice seatings.
