Friendly staff, comfortable and charming atmosphere, decent food at decent prices. I believe cash only. They make a decent pork schnitzel, have a good beer. We ate there two or three times.
Good and quick service. Pumpkin soup is very good. Excellent cheese strudel. Good location. But will never come back to the place that doesn’t accept credit cards. Increase your prices for 5%, that will cover cards fees.
Come for the view but know the food and service is mediocre at best. The waitress caught an attitude and was extremely rude over a simple miscommunication. The soup was mostly oil and expensive for the quality. There are better places where service matters.
Nice location. Food tasted nice but was so overcooked. A medium-rare steak order that cost over €30 came out almost grey.
The rush is huge, the waiters are spinning, I think there are few. They forgot half of the order, who came after us by the time we got it. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing extra. You can go once.
Taking in consideration that Hallstatt is full of tourists , specially from Asia which are not familiar with local food this is a fair place with good price/quality relation for Hallstatt .
