Get outside the tourist trap of central Vienna and there are some great places to be discovered. This cafe is straight out of the history books with great decor, coffee and cakes. Well worth the effort to find to experience the real Vienna.
As many time it happens, we entered an eventual cafe and found a wonderful place! the coffee was excellent and the croissant was exceptional (you have to wait 10 min. for it since it is backed upon each order!!)
The Cordon Blue chicken was good and so the clear beef soup. Although the waiter was not very friendly but overall the service was good and fast. My friend tried zacher tort and told it was excellent.
I can’t say anything about The cuisine because we weren’t even served. We waited for 20 minutes and the only thing we got was The menu that was thrown on the table by a waitress that refused tho speak english.
We visited for a quick hot drink whilst in the neighbourhood. The service was quick and friendly. I had a cafe melange and my Mum a hot chocolate. I used the loos whilst there and they were clean and easy to find.
