About
The oldest and the first centimeter is located in the heart of Vienna. Just behind the Rathaus, in the 8th district there is a quiet location Lenaugasse. Despite a very central location and easy access to the public transport network can be found in the Lenaugasse little traffic. This makes the centimeter-Schanigarten (open from spring to autumn) very cozy and invites you to linger. Thanks to a very sports enthusiasts audience around the centimeter at the Town Hall, we periodically provide sporting events via flat screen and screen (sky). In the so-called "Ur Centimeter" can be found next to the outdoor seating a large smoking area on the ground floor with a central bar. The decades-old vaulted cellar has been extensively expanded and is home to the Non smoking area, also including its own bar. We pamper our guests 365 days a year with eight beers on tap, including the famous centimeters house beer and many dishes of the Austrian home cooking.Details

We have tried local food: Spare Ribs mit Braterdäpfel & Saucen, Bauernnockerl (Speck, Zwiebel, Käse) and Wienerschnietzel (Schweinsschnitzel mit Pommes). House beer Stiegl is fresh and very pleasant.Crowded place, pleasant athmosphere, interesting, but not unforgetable food.
Visited the Centimter a few times during our trip as it was very local to our hotel nice place to relax for a while after trekking around during the day good beers staff very friendly
Very close to RATHAUS ( max 10 min walk). I recommend garlic soup and schintzel. HUGE portions , prices ok. But make rservations, because usually is full.
Great crowds, authentic austrian menu, affordable and a great experience. The portions of schnitzel were huge and we had extra for two days of lunches!
