The Wiener Schnitzel (from the pig) comes from the pan! Nothing is prepared in the fryer. - And the beef roulade is one of the best in Vienna. The business at the Spittelberg (with the same host!) has been running since 1982 and offers seating for 15 or 20 persons in two rooms. In addition to an extensive, continual menu (Viennese and homemade cuisine as well as meatless dishes), there are continually seasonal dishes - continually warm cuisine. What a great friendly, family run restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We went there 3 times during our stay in Vienna last week. Particularly enjoyed the pork medallions with porcini mushrooms. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend it
