This is an authentic cafe / restaurant with very good schnitzels and apfelstrudel (apple pie). Nothing fancy but good old-fashioned Vienna cafe.
We were here for coffee and pastry; both were very good. The service was adequate, but my attitude to it was affected by the inability to use our credit card. The explanation was that the system was down. Not good for a cafe!
Visited here for dinner after a concert in the nearby Palais Auersperg. It is nice and the food was tasty. It was the most reasonably priced restaurant we visited for dinner while in Vienna.
This is a well located traditional Viennese cafe. Perhaps not as famous as Cafe Central or the others but the food is tasty, well priced and the service is friendly. Great atmosphere.
