Very good food and the service was good as well. Standard eggs and bacon breakfast in a old style dinner setting. A local eating place. Prices were very reasonable as well.
Sad to say, but Skans is closed now. This was a great local place, not too expensive, with great breakfasts. Like many other local hangouts, this one is history.
Sometimes nice to go back to real life even if Nassau is not really interesting, just going back and forth the Main Street.

Can be found here! I had a specialty dish of Chicken Souse (Soup) w/ Johnny Cake. We also had Omelets & Grits and Corn Beef Hash/eggs/grits. Service was great and we got out for around $32. We recommend!
Easy to find among downtown shopping. Clean, fast service and reasonable portions. Can’t beat prices. Basic breakfast fair with no frills but perfect quick breakfast before the beach!
