I tried their several items, all seemed really dull and plain. It was not up to my expectation at all. Restaurant is not very well maintained as well, it was quite hot and humid, they need to upgrade.
Their dishes are Chittagong based. Like, Mezbaan Gosh, Akhni etc. Mezbaan Gosh is little bit spicy. It has to eaten with white rice to get the real taste. Akhni biryani is prepared with buffalo meat. Different flavour Ijust loved it.
It’s a good place to taste the real Chittagong flavor. The the quality is not at that level, nonetheless you can have a good variety of Chittagong beef item at reasonable price. Enjoy
Tried their set menu 1. The beef never felt like mejbani. Everything was like normal home cooked meat & daal. Rice was not fine as well. However, we tried at their Gulshan – 1 outlet.
Chittagong Express is very renowned for it’s unique food Kala Vuna and Mezbani Gosh. Unfortunately this time we found the taste is declining. Service and price is ok. Ambience is better than earlier. Overall experience ok.
chittagong express is traditionally owned restaurant in dhaka city. located very near from jamuna future park. the resturant is awesome for mezbani ghost, daal and specially for khala buna. khala buna is special item from beef.
