This cafe is a gem. We walked here and were not disappointed. The salmon salad was delicious. The spaghetti bolognese was also good. Definitely take the time to sit outside and people watch. My one complaint is that the service was slow.
The mussels are piping hot and the sauce is rich in taste (we have one white wine and one cream garlic). The people are very friendly and the service is just wonderful. No wonder it’s packed with locals.
Upon arrival in the hotel, we had a voucher for Savarin. We did not know what to expect. We had a Gentse Stew and it was delicious. The house wine was very good and we had a lovely lunch.
I love the way they cut steak in chunks here. Mine was cooked rare. Lively. Side salad and more fries than you can manage. Pepper sauce. What is not to like. Cooked rare. Perfect.I’ll be back.
