I love this place, its crowd and its staff. And its soup, of course. I pop in every now and then for lunch, it is a timeless place with great music and a good mixture of travelers and local people. Wide selection of drinks.
We dropped by for a coffee and we were pleasantly surprised. Candlelit bar, music playing (not my taste but pleasant background). Coffee was good, staff were friendly and it was a nice place. Not touristy, full of locals visiting the market.
During our visit in Ghent we found this pub, hearing the music we decided to drink a beer, the music was fantastic, first there was a concert and after a DJ mixing pop, rock, and funk. I really recommend this place.
Lovely bar with every drink/ liqueur you could want. Excellent host, lovely atmosphere – worth a visit!
