"Osteria Italiana" The Osteria is a public exercise, predominantly of popular typology, typically Italian, aimed at the selling and consumption of meals on place, "oste" in fact derives from preparation. Also, the term covers several types of cuisine and techniques, to allow for a greater knowledge. Who are we? Officina Italiana is born out of ten years of experience of hosting managers, Nicole Verhulst and Michael Mallaci Bocchio. Over 10 years of experience have been acquired throughout their entire career. Michael has worked and managed several restaurants and hotels in Brussels, whereas Nicole managed her own establishment in Kortenberg for over 11 years now (La Pizzaiola).Their only aim: spreading Italian culture in Belgium. As managers of La Pizzaiola and having many family businesses run in Brussels (Taormina, Serenata, Mediterraneo, La Selva, Il Barinetto, Cose Cosi,...) They surround themselves with highly professional figures such as Kitchen Chef Alfonso Manzi, who has had several commercial experiences himself throughout his +45 years of professional career.
