Way back in the 1920s, Den Toogoloog was an old-fashioned butchery, and not too much later it became a beerhouse or pub without doing away with the old butcherys charm or authenticity. Nowadays, Den Toogoloog is a popular place in Middelkerke where people of all ages meet in a warm and peaceful environment. You can enjoy a perfect draft beer, a delicious coffee, or one of the many other beers our small country has to offer. If you are hungry or fancy a small snack, you can choose anything from our menu: a boerestutte (slice of farmers bread with ham, cheese, etc.), a croque (grilled sandwich), a salad, a meat platter etcetera.
