Nature's Kitchen is the wholefood restaurant associated with the Maya Mountain Lodge. Dining is casual and friendly under a covered open veranda looking out on the jungle just outside of San Ignacio/Santa Elena, Cayo, Belize. Our optional "Ethnic Specials" provide you with a chance to experience foods from the Creole, Maya, Mestizo, Garifuna, and even Belizean/Lebanese cultures. Don't worry; your favorite comfort foods such as pizza, burgers, and steaks await you. Enjoy home-made breads made with fresh ground organic flour. We use the purest ingredients such as Himalayan seas salt, healthy oils, and the best quality grassfed meats available. We take your individual dietary choice in foods seriously and encourage people to feel comfortable to ask for custom meals and special diets. We are able to provide for a variety of dietary choices including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. The owners are supporters of "intentional living" and enjoy offering these healthy options.
