La Casona

About

European-German restaurant only 3 blocks from the main plaza in the historical center of the city. Built in 1890 the house is one of the oldest existing traditional constructions made of adobe and timber. Originally there was a ceramics factory functioning in the colonial style patio. The building was renovated and adapted in the typical colonial style of the Bolivian orient, using traditional techniques to put it in conditions to function as a restaurant. All decorations, masks and handcrafts that are presented are handmade by artists and artisans of the indigenous tribes of the department of Sta. Cruz representing their culture and traditions. We offer fine European-Mediterranean-German kitchen, serving salads, soups, pastas, fish and seafood, variety of meats, chicken and deserts. You will always find some fresh innovative dishes on our "blackboard" inspired by season and market. Our wine menu offers national, South American and international wines...
