About
Federico Barolo, founder of Cantina Barolo, is from Padua, born in Pontecorvo. Federico has the Venetian culinary tradition in his blood, he is a son of art, as a child he played between the tables of the old Osteria of his grandfather Amedeo and grandfather Vittorina on the Via S. Francesco. After arriving in Brazil, Federico cultivates his dream to recreate the scents and flavors of the old venetian gastronomy in Brazil. He did not study cooking, but in his memory contained the treasure of his family. The art of making bread, grissini, pasta, bigoli padovani with duck sauce, the polenta of the Venetian people. And slowly, in Brazil, the atmosphere and taste of the Venetian canteen will come, that meeting point of real people who enjoy the time they spend together eating sincere and tasty food accompanied by a "gotto" of wine. Federico receives his clients with Venetian courtesy, he does not get tired of talking to them about his land and his city and making them part of his BaroloDetails

The owner is very friendly and helpful! We went there 2 times and dinner was both very good. Especially the menu for 2 persons is delicious. Location is perfect with seaview at Praia 3. That area is more quiet. Definitely go here!
The food, the setting and the service were top top top!! We can definitely recommend this great restaurant. We have experienced one of the best evenings!
Servers were very nice, food was very tasty, prices can be high for a reason: quality is very high! It is not a big place. But the servers make you feel comfortable and the breeze coming from the ocean right in front is nice.
A perfect taste of Italy in this unique island. The Atmosphere, the service, the wines perfectly complement each other. Relaxed, well priced and definitely a place to visit.
Went to this restaurant 2 days in a row during my stay in Morro de Sao Paulo. The quality of the ingredients, the attention I was given and the sound of the waves made this experience perfect.
No pizza but we were after a good italian meal. And we got it! Very smiling waitress and polite owner. Would go there once more but need to try others.
