Atras da Matriz is a cozy restaurant, a great place for small to medium size groups (from 2 up to 8 people). Their food is delicious – the specialties are the cod fish (bacalhau) dishes and the pizzas.
The food was very good and the staff is very quick and attentive. You should make a reservation during high seasons/ holidays.
For excellent pizzas there isn’t a better place. Service is warm and attentive. The pizzas are elaborate and good. Worth the visit!
Different types of food, all just great. My kids had pizza and loved it. my parents went for the Trouta ( fish) and it was excelent. We had a traditional local soup. Great service, and located in a nice area. Excelent price.
This restaurant has very nice codfish dishes, I recommend. Pizzas are delicious too. Prices are honest and service is good as well.
