  Very difficult to get beef cooked rare or medium rare in Rio or do the majority of Brazilians just like there meat well done? I ordered the Carne Assada which according to the picture looked like an eye fillet as it was very thick. Tried to explain I wanted it medium rare, used the translator app on my phone and it seemed the waiter got the picture. When my meal came out it was a pork chop so unsure what happened but lost in the translation, anyway the meal was taken back and returned within 2 minutes with two thin pot roast slices & not the expected eye fillet. I was surprised and only later once research did I realise this was what I ordered. Anyway, meat was a tad dry, very little gravy and overcooked fries. The waiter did give us a complimentary serve of black beans which was a nice gesture. All I can say in countries where people don’t speak the language, the pictures displaying the food need to be accurate and not doctored to try and sell the product.

  Pedí un Medalhão do Chefe que estuvo realmente fantástico. Era una esponjita blanda y jugosa, con una salsa que no logré descifrar pero que era perfecta y el tocina daba la nota final que me hizo flotar. La porción de arroz con queso era más que generosa y muy llenadora, complementaba preciso.Las mesas sobre la vereda le dan al restaurante esa atmósfera informal y despreocupada tan típica de Rio de Janeiro, está siempre con mucho público disfrutando.Volveré, 100% recomendable.(Estuve en la sucursal de Rua Xavir da Silveira 76, Copacabana)
