Very nice ambience, excellent location, cool on the sidewalk seating on the corner across the Hermés boutique on garcia d’avila street. Though the menu offers an amazing variety of Ceviches prepared a la Peruvian, a la Tahitian, a la hawaiian, a la mexican, etc. I decided to go for another Peruvian staple plate like Lomo Saltado, that was not greatly executed but just OK. Small portion of overcooked meat with some veggies and wet fries, with a side of rice (or bread) Better stick with the classic peruvian style ceviche is my advice. Dessert assortment is a bit limited, and brazilian inspired. I tried the spicy chocolate pisco brigadeiro expecting something quite appealing and exotic and was very dissapointed with just a medium bowl of warm chocolate fondue with no garnish and nothing to dip in it (also too much calories for one person). My lemonade was great. Its a nice venue overall. Looks better at night.

Casa super simpatica próxima a Lagoa, opções amplas de ceviches, que combina totalmente com o clima de calor do RJ. Pratos de Mix de Ceviches é bem legal em especial o de salmão e oriental. Atendimento é ok.
Excelente atendimento, cardápio variado é muito bem preparado! A dica para quem nunca comeu é pegar o ceviche mix acompanhado de uma sangria lá carioca.
Visiting Carioca made me very confused afterwards. We came there as a group of 4 friends, but not everyone of us had luck to choose nice meals. Whenever you are there – take only ceviche’s. Every piece from menu is great, fresh and with nice sauces. I never had that good in my live, honestly. But as a main course both of us chose meals with shrimps which was a very big misunderstanding. It tasted like croquettes from fast food, we could hardly eat it. I wish I made different choice. After all, I was tired with seafood for the next few days.
