A restaurant in picturesque Lapa with traditional Portuguese decor. We were in a small group and shared a few dishes. Cabrito was fairly good, and a dish of squid cooked moqueca-style was very good. Eventually we dined (without excesses) for 70 R$ each.
We arrived hungry and thirsty and left feeling wonderful. We had the daily fish offer and a sangria and were extremely well treated by the waiter Jamerson. Next time in Riu we will have to return.
We came here for a drink after visiting Escadaria Selarón. The red sangria is really good. You can share 900ml or 1.5l of sangria for resp. only R$ 29 or R$35. Our waiter spook good English and they have a English menu available. Free wifi!
