The pizza at Domenica is really good, very light; you feel it’s ingredients are fresh and quality ones. Service and prices are OK, they match with the product. But I have no explanation why this restaurant is the 2nd best in Rio. Even just for pizzas, places like Capricciosa, Mamma Jamma and Braz, just to mention a few, offer similar quality pizzas. In fact, I think that holding the status of 2nd best restaurant in Rio is a negative asset for Domenica, since it creates such an expectation that’s difficult to be achieved. Excellent pizza, average service, average decoration, fair prices. That’s what Domenica is.So, if you like pizza and are close to the Tijuca neighborhood, stop by Domenica and you won’t regret. And leave your comments here, maybe those can help us better understand the mystery.
