Bravo.My expectations were exceeded by 2 key factors:The highly professional maitre d’hotel has that rare quality of being able to precisely describe (in English) what you are going to taste, smell, see. Plates already live in front of your mental eye before you get them. He also takes personal pride in making you discover local ingredients or the philosophy of the chef.I made my wine discovery of the year. An exceptional Brazilian red wine made from the (unknown) Marselan grape. Viapiana Espressoes Marselan 2012. A truly exceptional bottle at a very reasonable price and featuring low alcohol levels. I looked up the winemaker – 3300 bottles only produce of this marvel. Perfect pairing with the truffle scented beef trio. Elegantly complimented the goat cheese dessert.If I had to to do business in Rio, this would definitely be my place for business dinners. The spacing and the seat orientation offers privacy, the service is discrete and efficient.
