About
The Dirty Old Man Cocktail Pub is an homage to the writer Henry Charles Bukowski Jr, born on August 16, 1920 and died on March 9, 1994 in Los Angeles. Bukowski was a poet, storyteller and novelist of German origin but raised in the United States. His work of obscene character and totally colloquial style, with descriptions of manual work, drunkenness and casual relationships, fascinated generations of young people who looked for a work with which they could identify themselves. The pub's name refers to his column in the Los Angeles Open City, "Notes of a Dirty Old Man." Two years later, these texts became a book of the same name. Dirty Old Man Cocktail Pub offers internationally recognized cocktails and quality craft beers in an informal, cozy and intimate atmosphere.
