About
One of the most traditional bars in the city of Sao Paulo, with more than 90 years of existence and history. Opening at Lg. Paissandu (1922) coincided with the Week of Modern Art, and soon intellectuals, artists, modernists adopted the bar as stronghold. Students at Largo Law School San Francisco also became regulars. One of his most distinguished students, Casimir Pinto Neto, the Bauru, who had that nickname for being the city of Bauru (SP), was responsible for the invention of the sandwich that bore his name (1936), The BAURU FAMOUS and even today Chic Point maintains its original recipe: The CHIC SPOT BAURU is a delicious sandwich on French bread with thin slices of roast beef, tomato slices, pickled cucumber and a mixture of four types of cheeses in a water bath (cheese platter, steppe Gouda and Swiss). The shops have a varied menu with snacks, portions and traditional dishes of Sao Paulo culture. It is a must visit CHIC DOT and know the traditions and the delights that are successful for so long! Today there are three stores in Sao Paulo (Paissandu, Partridges and Paraiso).
