My food took well over an hour to arrive and it wasn’t a complex dish. Sadly I feel they cater to budget tourists and couldn’t care less about the unfriendly and un-rushed service.There are better places in town to support
We loved it here! We were here two days in a row for lunch. Absolutely loved the chicken Amok. I could eat is every day. And the absolute BEST prices. We ordered a vegetarian kmer curry, chicken Amok and 4 drinks for 7 dollar!
Seeing the reviews, they must have had a bad day. The Curry Khmer was acceptable but the noodles were straight from a bag that I can buy in the supermarket.
I had a decent-sized burger and chips here and a few beers, no complaints whatsoever, the waitress was very cheerful and helpful the portions were big and the price was right. Seems popular with backpackers and the like for this reason. All good.
Here at captain chims restaurant you can get good Western food, sometimes with an Asian twist, and great local food! Highly recommended!
