DAO WHO? We are a socially conscious business based in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. DAO OF LIFE ('PHLAUV NEI CHIVIT' in Khmer) means 'WAY OF LIFE'. VEGAN ECO-CAF & KNOWLEDGE HUB We offer a comfortable space where people can come together, eat delicious vegan food, learn more about healthy living and have fun! Also, we are 100% dairy free and use only coconut milk and nut-based milks. When we aren't serving up our delicious veggie delights, we are busy supporting and hosting Environmental, Arts, Social and Community based events and activities. We want everything we do to remain in the spirit of our social mission. Most of the furniture, dcor and dishware in our beautiful eco-caf is second-hand or made from old recycled materials. RECYCLE, RECYCLE... A MORE SOCIAL WAY OF DOING BUSINESS The income from our caf, with the support of local sponsors and partners, allows us to host all kinds of awesome social events and activities. Since our opening on International Women's Day, 8th March 2014, we've been busy doing some great stuff, like The M.I.C. (Made in Cambodia) Festival, an urban arts event celebrating local talent, and much more! We're always looking to work with like-minded people and groups and build effective partnerships that will help us spread goodness.
