New Hope Cambodia runs the School House Cafe - a training establishment with the aim of providing a fantastic culinary experience to guests whilst giving unemployed and often uneducated Khmers valuable cooking and hospitality skills, and developing their confidence and employment opportunities. New Hope Cambodia is a grass roots Non-Government Organisation (NGO) with a mission to give children and youth free education, help them complete their studies and inspire a love of learning. The school provides free education, healthcare and family crisis care to over 600 children from the poorest areas of Siem Reap. Visitors and volunteers are welcome to experience the unique School House cafe, located on the school grounds, seven days per week (bookigs are encouraged). Funds generated from the restaurant goes directly to fund the New Hope Cambodia School Education program.
