A busy little place and the is surely because the food is good. There was a ton of shrimp in my pho sate and the broth had good flavour...not too much…

best vietnamese in the area. I have come here for 6 years and tried some others in the area and this is always the best. The vermecelli bowls are but nothing amazing but the soups are out of this world!
Second best in the neighbourhood, see my other reviews for more on that. The satay here is decent and most other dishes are great. Family owned, friendly service. Cool fish tanks.
This place used to be my go-to Vietnamese restaurant, but yesterday I was reminded of why it hasn’t been in years. The chicken in my dish was too salty and lacked flavour. The regular spring rolls tasted foul and the vegetarian spring rolls were covered in a mysterious, mushy white substance. Needless to say, I will never return.
There’s not much I can say about this place besides I LOVE the pho. I order it about once a week and am sad to say I will be moving farther south and will not be able to get it as often. The broth is so flavourful. It’s light and you can actually taste the different spices instead of just salt. I find the regular is a huge portion and I can’t imagine trying the large. I do wish they served it with rare beef, but alas I can’t have everything. Also, the owners are wonderful. Momma is hilarious, so personable and always willing to stop to chat with every customer. Customer service here is a top priority for them. They could use a renovation but really that’s not a biggie when the pho is this good.
MOMMA is amazing, she always personalizes every single dish every time I go there. I find she know just what to ask and delivers time and time again. From the pho to the dumplings, this place is a GEM. I have had the please of going here year after year and don’t see any reason to stay away!
Really tasty soup and overtly friendly service. What sets this restaurant apart from other Pho places I have been is the house made hot sauce. It is sweet, spicy and perfect. I also love the fact that the soup comes with a large sprig of fresh Thai basil on the side. For lunch today I had the beef noodle version. The meat was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. The only negative I have is that the room is a bit tired and could use a renovation. However, the restaurant is clean and the prices are very reasonable.
Very friendly service but very unimpressed with the food. My friend had the Bun and she said the shrimp tasted stale. I had the Pho and found the noodles soggy/gloopy with the broth tasting strange near the end of the bowl, kind of like it had a mushroom soup base? Very odd and not how pho should be. The prices do not justify the portion sizes, nor the quality and preparation. We will not return here; there are too many other Vietnamese restaurants in the city offering cheaper dishes for far better quality. One thing I did enjoy, besides the welcoming service, was the very cool fish in several tanks around the restaurant.Update – I had some bad stomach issues the evening and night after eating here. Definitely won’t be returning!
