Ordered delivery from gondola’s and it took 50 mins even though I live right by. I was excited when it got here but when I opened the pizza box my happy expression went away, I may have ordered a plain cheese pizza but this pizza was not up to expectation. Most people say all cheese pizza tastes alike but I have had my fair share of cheese pizza and this pizza was bland. It’s like they put tomato sauce (without any spices) on a store bought crust and shredded some cheese. I don have much experience with cooking but I know I could have done a better job. I advise you to order from one of the other local pizza joints like fast lane pizza or Boston pizza.
Pizza is pretty good! Very fast service, convinant. But make sure to ask for their thick crust pizza! They’re thin crust is just too thin. I didn’t like them when I had their regular thin crust but I really enjoyed the thick crust and have been back since.
I like the thin crust pizza – ask for extra crispy crust (not advertised as an option on the menu. I enjoy the crust not so flimsy. Many options to try. The boss is literally the boss!
This place is awful. Pizza tasted like cardboard, dried up toppings, cheese and sauce. I figured it was going to be really good considering it was a $30 pizza. What a rip off, stay away!
Amazing thin crust. This has been the best North American style thin crust pizza in Calgary. It’s got a crisp to it, but a nice chew at the same time. The cheese has a real nice flavor to it goes right to the end of the pizza, so every bite of the crust has a nice burnt cheese crisp. On another note, I’m not sure what the deal is with the name. There are a few Gondola Pizzas in the city, but all are very different. This one however, tastes exactly like the Gondola in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
There’s a joke here somewhere, yes?!. As an Acadia resident, I enjoy supporting our local businesses, and have done so for some time! Then I tried Gondola Pizza. Big mistake! $44.75 for 2 small pizzas, 2 liters of coke, and 2 pieces of cheese like toast. I’ll say it’s thin crust! And thin toppings, thin cheese and thin sauce! Only time I’ve ate pizza and was left hungry! Had leftovers though! Neighbors Yorkie turned its nose up at it! Insulting to a dog as a snack , I guess! Never again, won’t tell anyone, but I’ll point them out to this website! Gondola Pizza: Great for rich people on a diet with no dogs!
Best Gluten Free Crust!. Just tried their gluten free crust for the first time, so far the best tasting gluten free of any pizza place in Calgary! Thank you!
