Came here for bfast since we had a friend come to town and was staying in Airdrie. We got here at 11am and luckily had a table for 4 for us . Inside is quite small and they don’t take reservations. Service was good and attentive. Food is average, hope typical diner menu. I had the California eggs Benny-came with 2 poached eggs over English muffins and bacon tomato avocado and hollandaise and side of hash browns. My friend for the Nutella French toast and the portion was pretty big and looked and tasted amazing. It was a great good place to grab a bite and catch up with friends. Prices was reasonable too
Atmosphere in the restaurant was very good, very much the 60’s dinner feel. It was nice to see all the staff busy when they weren’t busy. Cleaning, stocking and so forth no one standing around great job.The food was excellent, both my wife and I had the Lion Burger with poutine. The hamburger had a great taste and was not at all dry, gravy was very good and the fries are some of the best in town. Our son had popcorn chicken and fries, not one was left on his plate.Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Even when he was in the kitchen another staff member stopped to take our dishes off the table immediately. Great job from start to finish we will most definitely be back!
I was very impressed with the food and how friendly the staff was….also the staff kept busy cleaning and not standing around at all….best burger I ever had….will be going back very soon….100% satisfied customer….
Good atmosphere, small space, where you can watch your food being made right next to you. I had the bacon grilled cheese on naan with the chipotle Caesar salad. Which was very tasty! We went on Wednesday which is ‘Dumpling Day’. Homemade dumplings from China town, highly recommend these!!
We were just driving thru Airdrie and decided to stop at Abe’s, very good food and service! Will come again… Poutine with real curds were delicious served on fresh cut fries
What a great place! We used a Groupon (probably the best Groupon restaurant deal I’ve ever purchased) and had more than enough food for the 2 of us. We had burgers and fries – the food is terrific, quality diner fare. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the menu has enough options and the bathrooms are a must see! Highly recommend!
What an amazing gem! Great food and even better people. Quality place all the way around. We specifically went there from Calgary it was worth the drive!
