We beat the rush by 5 minutes so we didn’t have to wait too long. Servers were all very friendly and helpful. The food came out very hot and fresh and its shows in the great taste. Two minor issues stop this from being a 5; first the veggies needed another minute or so in the steamer but they were still good; second we all eft feeling hungry so $40 for 3 of us wasn’t quite enough.
My husband and I received food poisoning from this restaurant. We are very confident that this is how we got ill after speaking with Healthlink Alberta. I understand that human error occurs, and called the restaurant so that they could do everything possible to ensure that no one else became sick. The person I spoke to, who I understood to be the owner, felt it was unlikely that we had food poisoning given our symptoms despite the fact that Healthlink provided us with the professional opinion that this was indeed the case. Further to this, the person I spoke with felt it was virtually impossible that this establishment could give anyone food poisoning. He repeatedly told me how fresh the food was, and when I suggested that perhaps an employee touched raw fish and then a surface or rice or something, he said that even if this were the case, it would not result in food poisoning. By the end of the conversation the gentleman repeated that he did not feel it was the Edo food that made us so violently ill. I’m very disappointed, as I assume this means no steps are being taken to ensure no one else experiences what we went through.

I felt like something light and a bit healthier today so I got the Vegetable bento box, the staff out some extra mushrooms on top for me! The vegetables were cooked perfectly, rice was great over all it was a fantastic meal, I have this meal with pineapple too and what an amazing addition!02 Feb, 2011Vegetable Bento Box. Bobo is hilarious here always makes me laugh when I go in. The food is always great!! Love it.11 Dec, 2009Excellent!!. Edo Japan in Airdrie puts out a very good meal for the price in the local area. I love the Sukiyaki Beef and the California rolls here. Always get consitant service and food. The Udon Soup is great on a cold day like today!
