The restaurant atmosphere is charming and nicely decorated. The table settings are well thought out and what I would expect at a restaurant with the available menu. I went for brunch with friends, and luckily had eaten something small before going, and ordered the soup. It was not worth $10. It came in a normal size bowl, with no bun/crackers/adornments and no pepper or herbs were offered for the top- although it was tasty but not spectacular on its own. I was underwhelmed by it. Next time, Ill keep my $10 and go to Tim Hortons where I can get soup, a sandwich and a coffee for the same price.
I went for a late brunch after a botched trip to Drumheller due to bad weather with the person I’m seeing. We both had the short rib hash with poached eggs. The manager Hoan was really friendly and inviting. We both enjoyed the coffee and eggs. The beef had a good pronounced red wine flavour, that really elevated a dish that other brunch places fail at. I will have to come back for dinner sometime as I believe the Chef is really talented.

Our server was playful and not afraid to talk us through any questions. We tried two different desserts, bread pudding and cheesecake and both were lack lustre, other than that we loved it and will be back!
