Excellent food and atmosphere. In regards to the review I just read about last night, the customer was a complete jerk, and I was very disappointed to hear that they had left no tip on a bill for 6 people which is unacceptable and ignorant. He sent the young waitress away crying twice when we could see that she was doing all she could to help better their meal. He also proceeded to insult her after the bill was paid, and insulted Sal for absolutely no reason. Sal also stood up for the waitress just like he should have which we were very impressed by. If you want homemade food then you’re going to have to wait a bit longer and the food at il forno is definitely worth the wait. Also as for the ‘showered with abuse’ comment, this man abused that poor waitress and showed zero class and zero respect. As patrons at this restaurant for many years and frequent restaurant goers we have never seen behaviour as ignorant as this, and never seen such disrespect from customer to staff.
BEST PIZZA IN ALBERTA. My husband saw their sign so we decided to try them. First off we haven’t found a place where that actually uses a stone oven yet. I called and ordered was told 20min. We got two pizzas and a piece of cheese cake all ready when I got there. The pizza was still HOT when I got home. This place is freaking wonderful. The cheese cake was indescribable. We will be going back!!!
I cant beleieve they are still open!. This place runs out of pizza dough and doesnt have the staff to take orders for takeout… Extremely poor management!!!

Horrible Management. Management/owner was extremely rude to my Wife and Mother, front door and sign say open but when they walked in they were rudely told to get out as they weren’t serving people at that time. Which happened to be at 17:30 so it was dinner time.I am completely soured as to why someone would treat women and customers like this.
Customer Service is meh. I called an hour before and asked that my 2 pizza’s be ready for pick-up at 5:20pm. Arrived at 5:23pm and pizza’s were’nt ready until 5:50pm and the two guys working acted like I was inconveniencing them. The place wasn’t busy AT ALL and it was a Tuesday night. Kind of rude almost. The pizza was good. I thought the crust was was perfect; not thick or greasy. Priced on point and they don’t overwhelm it with cheese. Not sure if I will order from them again…I don’t want to put anyone out or anything 🙁
Such delicious pizza! Tonight was my first experience of Il Forno Italian pizzeria and we will be back again! The paesana pizza with the arugula was fabulous!
