New Owners not on the ball!. We were regular patrons at the Joeys in Airdrie until just before Christmas of 2014 when the new owners took over. The ambience is gone, the customer appreciation is gone (one feels like a burden when you get there), line ups at the door when the tables are dirty and not in use. Very poor Management. We have been there three times since the new owners took over and last night will be the last time. Too bad, because the previous owners had customers breaking down the doors to get in. We will be enjoying fish at a Joeys in Calgary from now on and so will a great deal many other Airdronians!
Get it together. I have visited this airdrie location around ten times and on two occations they have been out of shrimp appys twice i have had dirty glass brought to me and once i have waited 30 min to get service. Could be a great resturant if they could stay on top of the little things
Very impressed!. It looked a little sketchy, but pregnancy cravings were demanding fish and chips so we thought we’d give it a shot. Are we ever glad we did! Perfectly crispy fish, deliciously seasoned Cajun and popcorn shrimp, and great service! We’ll be back for sure!
Joeys improved!. Joeys in Airdrie used to be terrible but since the last owners took it over it has greatly improved!
Junk. I cot a fish out of nose creak and it tasted better than the sammin I had the other day hear! better luck next time bud…oh waight I’ll never bee back lol!
Huge Improvement. I took my family yesterday to Joey’s Airdrie. It was the first time since the new owner took over and I couldn’t believe the huge improvement. The Restaurant was spotless, the service very attentive, Food delicious and big portions. Also my wife doesn’t like fish but she tried the ribs and really liked it. We will be back soon.
Dissapointing. Having never ordered from here I should have asked about sizes, but where we just moved from 1 piece of haddock more than fills me up, and 2 for my boyfriend, so we figured the 3 piece meal would be perfect. This meal would barely have fed me. The fish was very small, and the amount of fries pitiful and very soggy. Maybe we got spoiled in Ontario with serving sizes, but for $19 dollars I expected much more fish. I would have gotten 4 of their filets worth of fish as one at any other restaurant I have eaten at as one piece of fish.
